Terms of Service

The agreement behind every flight.

These terms govern your use of the Flytebook website, the Flytebook apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and the services behind them (together, “Flytebook”). By creating an account or using Flytebook you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy information.

Effective date · 2026-09-17

1 · The service

Flytebook is a flight planning, moving-map, weather, chart and flight-recording tool for pilots. It is a planning and situational awareness aid only. Flytebook is not a substitute for official sources and is not certified for primary navigation: verify every route, altitude, chart, NOTAM and weather product against official FAA, NOTAM and aviation weather sources before flight, and fly with the approved navigation equipment and current publications your operation requires. Data may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable, particularly offline, and the pilot in command remains solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight.

2 · Accounts

You need a Flytebook account to use most features. One account works on the website and in the apps. Keep your credentials confidential, give us accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can close your account at any time: see deleting your account.

3 · Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Solo is free. Plus, Pro and Max are paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually. A subscription purchased on the website renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Where a free trial is offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends; trial eligibility, length and the renewal price are confirmed before you pay. Subscriptions bought inside the iOS or Android app are sold by Apple or Google under their terms and are billed, renewed and managed through your App Store or Google Play account. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the period already paid for, after which your account returns to Solo. Prices may change for future periods with advance notice.

4 · Cancellation and refunds

Cancel a website subscription from Billingon the website; cancel a store subscription in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals and does not shorten the current paid period. Refunds for website purchases are provided where applicable law requires them and otherwise at Flytebook's discretion. Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by that store under its refund policy, and Flytebook cannot issue them directly.

5 · Acceptable use

Use Flytebook lawfully and only as intended. Do not misrepresent yourself, access another person's account or data, interfere with or overload the service, probe or circumvent its security or entitlement checks, scrape or redistribute Flytebook content or data feeds, reverse engineer the apps except where the law allows it, or use Flytebook in a way that endangers people or aircraft. Content you share (for example a public flight or a broadcast) must be yours to share and must not be unlawful or abusive.

6 · Intellectual property

Flytebook, its apps, design, software and content are owned by Flytebook or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Flytebook for your own flying; it does not transfer any ownership. Aeronautical data, charts and weather products come from government and third-party sources under their own terms. You keep the rights to your own flight records, plans and recordings, and you grant Flytebook the licence needed to store, process and display them to provide the service, including to people you choose to share them with.

7 · Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Flytebook is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flytebook and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, aircraft, revenue or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Flytebook, and Flytebook's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8 · Termination

You may stop using Flytebook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service becomes impracticable; where reasonable we will tell you first. On termination your licence ends and your account data is deleted in line with our privacy information, except where we must retain it by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6 and 7) survive termination.

9 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Flytebook evolves. The effective date above shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice in the app, on the website or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Flytebook after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using the service and cancel any subscription.

10 · Contact

Questions about these terms, billing or your account: email support@flytebook.com or visit support. Include the email on your Flytebook account so we can find it.
